This is the greatest place near Janardhana Swami Temple. Perfectly cooked spiced salads, filet américain and omelettes will impress you at the first bite. Order good banana pancakes, fruit salads and crepes. Delicious iced coffee, fresh juices or fruit tea are worth a try here.

I’ve been to Benny’s cafe countless times during my time in Varkala, and it really is a special place. Benny and Lena make the food and drinks with a lot of love and they really create this homey atmosphere where strangers that sit next to one another become friends whilst enjoying a papaya-turmeric juice (really the best!) or a pineapple pancake. The shop with books and spices is also lovely. Make sure you check this place out !! Thank you Benny and Lena I hope to see you again someday!
