I’m a tourist and I found here coincidentally. The owner and wife are lovely and kind. Masara tea was tasty, and lunch was good! Good thing was the sign of price was outside there, so I didn't need to be worried about anything. Many local people came here. 真昼間の暑い時間帯にたまたま通りかかって見つけたお店。オーナー夫婦がとても親切で、カレーのランチの食べ方を教えてくれました。マサラティーもおいしかったです。料金の書いた札が出ていたのも、安心して食事できた理由の一つ。 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ate here everyday for about 2.5 weeks. Absolutely loved the food - always fresh and prepared with love. Shibu is a passionate cook and a very kind man. Some of my favourite memories in Varkala were not the beach but having the opportunity to get to know Shibu and his regular clientele, which includes tuk tuk drivers, wandering necklace salesmen and yoga instructors. The opportunity to have a "human" interaction with these folks away from the commercial strip was wonderful. In short, this is the best place to get a meal cooked the way the Kerelan people like it, not the expensive tourist equivalent of South Indian cuisine. Recommend it to food lovers of any budget.
