Our Review: 4.5 / 5
There is a common assumption that healthy food is bland and boring. Breaking all these misconceptions, Sequel Bistro is a happening bistro and juice bar situated in Pali hill. With a 100% gluten free menu, founder Vanika Choudhary has created a space that is great for both big and small crowds and allows guests to indulge their taste buds without feeling guilty about it. From outside the place looks simple and in the inside it looks very calm and relaxing just like a homely ambiance. Although the menu is primarily vegetarian, there is something for everyone. The attention to wholesome goodness is evident with the strict use of organic produce. All the colours left out of the decor can be found in the food. Every plate is an attractive medley of grains, pulses, vegetables, fruits and nuts. Coming to most recommended food is The Red Pirate which was an amalgam of quinoa, kale, roasted baby beets, roasted baby carrots, etc all splashed with red wine vinaigrette. In liquid, the orange and carrot soup had more of the fruit’s flavour than of the veg, which contributed textural heft and hue to the comfortingly warm preparation. Do visit if you want to enjoy a delicious quick smoothie or simply want to unwind with a friend over a plate of ‘Pretty in Pink’ salad made from fresh ingredients. .
