Savya Rasa is one place that genuinely stood out on our recent visit. It was our first time here and the experience started strong with the service. The staff was attentive and helped us with recommendations, which actually worked in our favour. We started with a fish dish wrapped in banana leaf and that was easily one of the highlights. Very different, packed with flavor and had that authentic South Indian touch which you do not usually find easily. For drinks, we tried a khus based drink and another coconut and lime based one. Both were refreshing, cooling and had a unique taste without being too experimental. For the main course, we went for a biryani. It was flavorful with well balanced spices. Not too spicy, which might work for most people, but if you like stronger heat, you might find it slightly mild. The real star of the meal was the dessert. The mango pudding was outstanding. Easily the best thing we had and something I would go back for. If it is part of the seasonal menu, it is absolutely worth trying before it is gone. The ambience is warm and inviting, and even the fragrance of the space adds to the experience. That said, the place was completely packed during our visit, with a bit of a wait as well. It does feel slightly cramped when full, so if you prefer more space and a quieter setting, that is something to keep in mind. Overall, great food and solid service. Slightly tight on space, but definitely worth visiting for the flavors and overall experience. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner
