One of the best places to come for a Thali Lunch. Not sure about the other items on the menu budgeting by the taste of everything we had on the thali. I'm sure their other menu items would also be equally tasty. This is a pure veg restaurant and they do not serve any non veg or alcohol. There is wale parking available so it's ok if you travel here by your own vehicle. The valley parking is chargeable though. The ambience and seating and staff are really good. If you go during peak hours you may have to wait to get a table so it is always better to go a little early. Very close to the Aqua line Churchgate Metro Station so it is very easily accessible even by foot. The pricing for the thali is extremely reasonable for this part of the city and I guess you will get your best value for money if you order the thali. They have clean washrooms here too. Samrat Hotel serves decent, tasty North- and South-Indian, Punjabi food with a modest but clean ambience and friendly staff. The seating is fairly spacious and service is usually prompt, making it a good spot for a quick meal or casual dinner. Crockery or freshness feels just average — but overall it strikes a decent balance of quality, and convenience for the price. Menu is bit expensive but given the location of south Mumbai cant complain about it.
