Food is great, absolutely no complaints, but the service is disappointing. I ordered a Bisi Bele Bath parcel and was instead given a Neer Dosa. The person who took the order was insisting that I ordered a Neer Dosa. I asked him to keep the Neer Dosa with him and again ordered a Bisi Bele Bath this time with triple check. Taking a order wrong is one thing, but insisting that the customer is always wrong is another thing I was not asking for money refund. Just the acknowledgement that the order was taken wrong. It appears that the staff there can never be wrong. It’s only the customers like me. It’s only the good food that keeps it open, not the staff.

I visited this restaurant for breakfast. Our seating was changed twice due to reservation by other. Later due to inconvenience, they arranged us seating and helped in getting our baggage. The food was served and they served a complimentary dish to compensate the inconvenience which was good gesture. Though the restaurant is famous for south Indian food but it lacked the purity and taste of it. Even the filter coffee was not that best. Had a wholesome and satisfying lunch at Poornima Restaurant, located in the Fort area of Mumbai. I tried their South Indian Thali, and it truly felt like a home-cooked meal. The thali included soft chapatis, perfectly steamed rice, sambar, rasam, dal, coconut curry, two vegetable preparations, chutney, pickle, and a refreshing cup of buttermilk — all served neatly in a traditional steel plate. What makes it even more convenient is its walking distance from the Bombay High Court, making it an ideal lunch spot for advocates, clients, and others visiting the court. The service was quick, the ambience was clean and simple, and the food was both hygienic and flavorful.
