It was my roomate's bday and being fasting, we both decided to hop on sagar ratna for their famous 'vrat thali'. V ordered executive vrat thali that consisted of 2 sabji,samak pulao,curd potato,fruits,sabudana papad 4 singhada puris.
As soon as our order approached v got excited and were damn hungry as well. We started eating and noticed somthn was wrong. The puris dint taste the vrat puris. U kno why? COZ THEY WERE FRIED IN SOYABEAN REFINED OIL!!??. Come again? Wich oil???. Only peanut and desi ghee is allowed to be consumed. They broke our fast. How can such abnormal mistake be expected of a good restaurnt like this? Not at all.
Moreover even the manager and chef were unaware of such 'rule'. Huh..if they dont know their job , then atleast stop assuming wrong thing. U cannot play with spiritual sentiments of people by serving them wrongly prepared vrat food!!
I dont even feel like rating 1. But since i want to write this review, i will.
Sagar ratna did not meet upto my expectations AT ALL!! or rather their lack of awareness make me feel pity for them and their management.
