The restaurant has an old world feeling (as nothing seems to have changed here for years). Also we had great expectations from this place and based on the recommendation we tried a few items but all were average, nothing awesome. As we had heard about this from many people hence wanted to visit it. But if you have limited time in Chandigarh, you can give this place a miss and visit Sindhi sweet nearby which is much up-to-date. Also food is good. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

If you’re broke but still want to feel fancy sipping coffee in Chandigarh’s Sector 17, Indian Coffee House is your best bet. The prices are so low, you’ll wonder if you time-traveled to the 80s. Now, don’t show up expecting Michelin-star flavors—at this price, you’re getting nostalgia, not gourmet. The only thing stiffer than the filter coffee is the service staff, who look like they’ve seen things they’ll never talk about. A smile? Forget it. But hey, I’ll keep coming back, because where else can you get a full meal for the price of a single cappuccino at Starbucks?
