I wish I could give negative stars. Glasses were smelled very bad. Think before going there. If the basic hygiene is not maintained then you can imagine the quality of food they serving. Food: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I was personally present at the time of your visit and would like to clarify that the glasses used for serving water are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized multiple times throughout the day. Our cloth napkins are clinically washed every morning and freshly ironed before use.Since the napkins are placed decoratively inside the glasses, a faint aroma from the charcoal ironing process can sometimes transfer to the glass — which may have been perceived as a smell. This does not indicate any lack of hygiene or cleanliness.However, we respect your concern and would be glad to discuss this further to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. "Novelty Restaurant in Sector 22, Chandigarh, has been serving delicious North Indian cuisine since 1959, making it a vintage eatery with a rich history. This iconic restaurant has been a favorite among locals and visitors alike for over 64 years, offering a blend of traditional flavors and warm hospitality. We tried their Chicken Masala, which was spicy with tender chicken pieces cooked to perfection, and Mutton Masala, which was succulent with mutton pieces infused with a depth of spices. These dishes were accompanied by Tandoori Roti, which was crisp and fresh out of the tandoor, perfect for scooping up flavorful gravies, and fresh cut onion slices sprinkled with lime juice and salt. Novelty Restaurant's ambiance is simple yet welcoming, despite its small space. It's an ideal spot for dinner with friends to relive the nostalgia of a pre-90s atmosphere. The restaurant is also popular among university and college students due to its good food at reasonable prices.
