Dear Team Zomato, Greetings from Royal Sky, Hazratganj, Lucknow. We would like to respond to the feedback shared by the guest regarding their recent dining experience. The booking was originally made for 6 guests under the Zomato dining offer. At the last moment, one additional guest joined, making the total 7. As per the offer policy, discounts are applicable only on the number of guests mentioned in the reservation. Our staff politely informed the guest about this rule and clearly showed them the applicable terms and conditions on the Zomato platform. However, the guest insisted that whether the booking was for two people or seven, the total bill should not matter and they would make the payment accordingly while still expecting the full discount. Despite multiple polite explanations from our team, they were not ready to accept the policy. Our staff only followed the platform guidelines while trying to explain the rules respectfully. There was no intention to inconvenience the guest in any way. Still, we regret if the interaction felt unpleasant and we will further train our team to handle such situations more calmly and diplomatically.
