Mixed Experience at Plated Restaurant - Falls Short of Expectations Our Order - Italian Classic Creamy Chicken - Indian Chilli Burn Chicken - Korean Chicken - Bread and sides - Pitcher drinks Italian Classic Creamy Chicken- This was the only dish that met basic expectations. The preparation was decent and had an acceptable taste, though nothing exceptional. Indian Chilli Burn Chicken- This was particularly disappointing. The chicken had an unusual fishy aftertaste that completely ruined the dish. For a restaurant serving Indian cuisine, this was far from authentic and quite off-putting. Korean Chicken- Average at best. The flavoring didn’t live up to what you’d expect from Korean-style preparation. Overall Experience The meal was a letdown for our family. Despite trying multiple chicken preparations from their “Flame Kissed Infused Chicken” menu, most dishes failed to deliver on taste and quality. The atmosphere around the restaurant was also lacking, which added to the overall disappointing experience. Value for Money Given the pricing (₹330-₹680 for main dishes), the food quality doesn’t justify the cost. Unfortunately, this restaurant didn’t meet our family’s expectations. The inconsistent food quality, particularly the fishy taste in the Indian Chilli Burn chicken, makes it unlikely we’ll return. There are better dining options available in Thiruvananthapuram for similar or lower prices. Plated : A good option to eat - Recently dined at Plated Trivandrum. - Ordered Honey Al Fahm Mandi and Lime juice. - The food was just awesome. - Superb quality and good quantity. - Especially loved the Pudina Chutney. - The flavor of Al Fahm was delicious. - Chili flakes and honey were proportioned correctly. - The ambiance was superb for enjoying a meal. - The pictures & the drawings inside the Plated were superb -Liked sitting inside.
