I had made a reservation through Zomato for a 7 PM dinner to celebrate a special occasion. Upon arriving at the resort, I was given incorrect directions multiple times by staff, with no one appearing to know where the restaurant was located. After much effort and confusion, I finally discovered that Pelican Deck was closed: a fact that was neither communicated beforehand nor mentioned by any of the staff. This lack of proactive communication was extremely disappointing, especially for a restaurant under the Sheraton brand. Adding to the frustration, the resort staff failed to acknowledge their mistake or offer an apology, let alone provide an alternative arrangement to salvage the evening. Poor coordination among staff and a lack of accountability left a sour impression, turning what should have been a memorable celebration into a frustrating ordeal. If these issues are addressed with urgency, the restaurant could live up to its promise. Until then, I would advise potential diners to confirm operational status before visiting.
