Okish food but the beach setting and ambiance with access to showers and restrooms make it for a great evening out ... especially if u want to experience the sand, sun and water....tip- they have a 40% discount on eazydiner ... Kokommo Tiki Shack is all about location !! location !!! Location !!!! . The place is right at the edge of the beach. The sea breeze is a constant companion along with the soft sound of the waves. The place has an open resturant and a shack right next to the open restaurant. If one feels the Chennai heat is a little too much then one can take refuge in the shade of the shack and the powerful fans provided there. The evenings are much better along with early mornings. The breeze in the evenings are constant. The service staff are lovely people. They take a lot of effort to make us comfortable. Any time after September till February is a great time to visit Kokommo. The food served here is international cuisine. One can get grill options of meat and seafood, frontier food, Indian, international food, burgers, sandwiches, pizzas along with desserts. Good Liquor option too is available. The place reminded me of the Goan shacks. Worth a visit whenever you are on the East Coast Road!!!!!
