Visited the place after 15 years, and the ambience was improved to a large extent. But that's where the expectation that was set went downhill for what mattered most, the food. Food was not upto expectation and not good like 15 years earlier, everything was spicy but lacked balanced flavour. FISH THALI (kingfish/surmai) and PRAWN THALI priced at Rs. 625 each with just the basics. Suggestion for the restaurant is to improve taste by balancing flavors and add a salad, some vegetable preparation and a sweet dish while bringing down the price to a Rs. 400 to 500 range to provide Value for money for their Sea food Thali offering. Pangat is a paradise for non-vegetarian and seafood lovers, offering some of the finest Maharashtrian coastal delicacies. Known for its exceptional seafood, this restaurant has earned a reputation as a go-to destination for those who crave authentic flavors. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with cozy seating that ensures a comfortable dining experience. Thoughtfully decorated with vintage elements and elegant wall art, the interiors add a rustic charm that perfectly complements the coastal theme. Service at Pangat is impeccable—the staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to enhance your experience. But the real highlight is the food! Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. From seafood to meat dishes, each bite was a burst of authentic taste and rich spices. Dining here truly feels like a trip to the Konkan coast, where every dish captures the essence of traditional Maharashtrian flavors. Hygiene is well-maintained, and while the vegetarian options are limited, the exceptional seafood more than makes up for it. A must-visit for seafood lovers and the perfect place to enjoy an unforgettable meal with family and friends. Highly recommended! ️ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Extremely Disappointed with Pangat Restaurant – Not Kid-Friendly & Poor Service Visited Pangat Restaurant for dinner yesterday and had a really frustrating experience. 1. Terrible table management – Instead of seating people as tables become available, they pre-assign specific tables and make you wait for that exact one to get free. Because of this, people who arrived after us were seated before us. 2. We were with two infants (4 months and 18 months old) and both mothers requested to be seated early. The staff said, “10 more minutes,” but kept repeating that for 45 minutes straight. If they had told us the real wait time, we could’ve gone somewhere else. 3. Kids were hungry and crying by the end, and this entire mess could have been avoided with honest communication and better table handling. 4. The service was extremely poor. No water was served after seating, dishes were just placed on the table without any help, and staff had to be called repeatedly. No one took interest in explaining the menu or making suggestions. 5. The food taste is average at best – definitely not worth the premium prices or the hype. Not much standar variety as well. In summary: Poorly managed, unhelpful staff, not at all suitable for families with kids. Never visiting Pangat again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹800–1,000
