Ordered the Tomato soup and Veg Hyderabadi Biryani. Due to the LPG gas shortage I was told that the Tandoori items like Parathas were not available. The soup was great, perfect portion, taste, and size. The Hyderabadi Biryani was tasty too. Served with a plain raita, and some fried papad kept on the table. However one can get the same dish elsewhere. The Pali Bhavan touch/interpretation was missing. Maybe a salan or even an ingredient that could be added to elevate the taste. Ambience is incredible and the service is quick. Pricing is also decent. We had heard so much about it in bandra that we went with great expectations. The interiors are very well done and the ambience is good. We ordered cocktails and both of them had only high alcohol content but no taste! We ordered starters. The chicken dish was served ( kebabs) without onions and lemons! The green chutney was 5 ml! Later the staff discovered the mistake and brought the standard lemon etc. The kebabs were so so. no salt and paper at the table! We had to ask for it! Them came the biggest disappointment. We had ordered pomphret and i never have seen a chef bugger the fish this way. Absolutely tasteless. We left as we did not have courage to order the main course. Unnecessarily hyped up place. Avoid.
