Hey Deepali, two down, three more to go. We’ve been eagerly waiting for more opportunities to tell our side of the story with evidence. Happy to cater to the attention you’re seeking. TL;DR: You came to a restaurant, ate heartily, refused to pay, then threatened to defame and sue. 1. An order of 4 plates of Rajma Chawal can only be ready in 30 minutes if uninterrupted. If you think you were killing time by ordering beverages, you're absolutely right. We took exactly 18 minutes and 37 seconds (we never mentioned 15 minutes to you) to prepare a plate of momos, two coffees of different types, and a chai made from scratch. Following that, in 47 minutes from the time of your order, the 4 plates of Rajma Chawal were served. (As informed to Moo hita also, feel free to email [email protected] for evidence.) 2. An average human meal portion is around 330 grams, which culinary schools also teach as the ideal portion size. Our Rajma Chawal bowl features solid food weighing around 400-450 grams, which we regret wasn't enough to satisfy you and your co-travelers. 3. The owner informed you that there was 90% precipitation, resulting in only 10% visibility and no visible sunset. You irrationally blamed us for missing your (otherwise non-existent) sunset. We only provided you with a logical (and science-backed) explanation. To add further clarity: Not only was the weather a factor, but also a bit of math. You were seated at 5:47 and ordered at 5:51. We gave you a 30-minute estimate at a point when no beverages were ordered. Our restaurant is a 7-minute walk from the beach, and even if the math adds up, the sunset was at 6:23 on that day. It was empirically impossible for you to finish eating and reach the beach in time. You could have done the math and chosen not to order if you had calculated the time. To make things worse, you added beverages and momos, which, unfortunately, don’t make themselves magically. Watching the sunset literally translates to being at the beach around 15 20 minutes BEFORE 6:23. You ordered at 5:51 and agreed to 30mins wait time to be able to watch a sunset that ends at 6:23? Like How? 4. During your meal, you were seen thoroughly enjoying the food and even requesting extra momo chutney after quickly finishing the momos. The condiments requested by your group were used by only 2 out of 4 diners, yet none of you raised any issues about the food while devouring it. The plates were licked clean before you asked, "Bhaiya, thoda discount kardo, itna late karwa diya." To which the "manager" responded that we would verify the CCTV promptly, which we did. 5. Upon showing you the CCTV proof, you suddenly started shouting, "I’m a lawyer, we’re from the media." Our female owner is seen asking you three times, "What is your expectation (for compensation)?" but instead of answering her question, all of you just kept reiterating your professions. We recommend ordering 5 of our SOLO BOWLS of Rajma Chawal next time, instead of ordering 4 and sharing, before complaining about portion sizes. 6.As local business owners catering to tourists, we believe our role goes beyond just serving food. We strive to be well-informed about the local weather, activities, sunset timings, and other key details to enhance the experience for our visitors. Our goal is to provide more than just a meal—we want to create a complete, thoughtful experience. We apologize if you haven't encountered a business that goes the extra mile to learn and serve the community, but we take pride in doing so for the greater good.
