A lovely hidden gem near Patnem Beach in south goa for authentic North Indian food. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the owner is just as friendly. They even have two adorable dogs on site, which adds to the charm. During the afternoon, soft music played in the background, making it a perfectly laid-back lunch. The slightly rustic interiors add to the charm and create a cozy, feel good atmosphere. We tried the taroroot kadhi and pahadi chicken with chapati and rice both were packed with flavor, so good that we literally cleaned the plates. Must say i preferred eating the veg kadhi over chicken this one time The washrooms were clean as well. Would love to visit again when in goa. Pahadi Roots – Absolute Vibe & Flavour Bomb This place is an experience, not just a café. The ambience? Super awesome. Think cool, breezy, chill hill-station-meets-coastal-vibe. It hits all the right notes — cozy, earthy, and vibing hard with aesthetics that calm your soul and lift your mood. Now coming to the real deal — the food. 10/10. Fresh, flavourful, crafted to perfection — every bite is a masterpiece. From the first sip to the last bite, you’ll feel the difference. This is not your average café fare — it’s n times better than some hyped-up names in South Goa (you know who ). The chef here is a magician — truly skilled and passionate. You can taste the difference in every dish. This place just rocketed to the top of my South Goa café list — yes, even above Zest. (And I’m a fan of Zest too, but yeah — Pahadi Roots > Zest. Period.)
