We tried Veg dishes and it's nothing great , quantity is less compare to pricing. Main course took 20+min to come.. we just waited after our starters. Need A LOT of improvement in service. Waiters are not attentive feels like lost does not pay attention. They don't serve water also until you ask for. Being a regular and seeing the downfall of the One8 commune at the Mills, I was really excited and looking forward to visiting the new one when I got to know it's come up in KP. The grandeur and the hype created and lived only upto the time we got seated on our table, the server and ordertaker Sohail appeared lost and took wrong orders, so much so that came back after 15 mins to even say that the drink was unavailable, which btw was the wrong one...I had ordered something else. Even a dhaba serves water as soon as the guests are seated but here even after we asking them for regular water not the expensive bottle that they place on the table...there was no water served for 20 mins until we asked another waitress for water. Sohail simply took the bottle away. The reason given was Saturday night is busy ! Like really? If the service is going to be a challenge on sat nights then why don't you consider slashing the rates to half for that night? We go to fine dining restaurants for the food, service and ambience..the least me or anyone would want to do is crib and complain after a long working week. To add to our woes, the food came to the table at a snail speed which we still didn't fuss about. The Tikkas came without any laccha onion which was clearly mentioned in the menu. The rotis were ordered as butter roti but came absolutely cold and plain. We waited for hot butter rotis while the rest of the food for cold .Oh the worst yet, the plates after the starters were not changed to dinner plates even after asking them to and even after the main course was placed on the table. We were waiting for the plates while again the food went cold. The noodles came in real late even after few of us finished our meal. The desserts - Butterscotch Tiramisu and churros are a definite miss...just fancy plating but loaded with sugar and that's all the taste you get along with flavourings. Cocktails like Cola Island and Penicillin were good and potent but then again wrong order taking and lost server who didn't even know the menu dampened the mood. The food is just Okayish ...Portion size , taste nothing worth talking about. Ambience is nice but very congested seating especially on busy days. The DJ last night was definitely an amateur and his mixing was poor. I wouldn't recommend or visit this One8 commune ever again. There are better places in Pune and these guys - celebrity cricketer et al have to really up their game if they don't want another bye bye from the Pune market ! Food is a little on the healthier side , some might find it bland, i recommend using the dips provided if you wanna spice it up. But the staff from valet to the server were all just looking to get tips to the bothering level. Also do something about your parking, parking cars half down on a steep road might hurt the underbody.
