I came for dinner here enroute airport. Ordered palak patta chaat, lemon and ginger chicken, ice latte. Food was great, especially the palak patta chaat. Service was prompt. Ambience is typical but nice. It is located a floor down from the entrance. A bit difficult to locate but you can ask the guards around and they will guide you. We had the pleasure of dining at Monsoon by Cafe Lota in Aerocity recently, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The restaurant makes a compelling case for being more than just another Indian dining spot—its menu has freshness, creativity, and regional flair, while the staff make you feel personally welcomed. ️ Novel Menu Highlights – The food here is inventive in all the best ways. Dishes I sampled included Buckwheat Pancakes with mushroom, spring onion and zarai cheese, served with a spicy chilli‑garlic chutney—an excellent small bite that shows how Monsoon plays with textures and flavors.
– For something different, their Choriz Pulao (organic quinoa with Goan chorizo, roasted peppers, and zereshk berries, topped with a sunny side up) is bold and beautifully constructed.
– Dessert lovers won’t be disappointed—two of their signatures are the millet kheer topped with salted caramel and almonds, and an organic chocolate torte. Both are memorable. The décor and ambiance complement the novel menu—rustic, understated elegance with warm lighting, natural materials, and an inviting setting. It feels like a place that respects tradition but isn’t afraid to experiment. Courteous Service & Hospitality – From the moment we walked in, the staff were gracious: friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. There was a maître d’ who guided us to our table with a warm welcome and ensured our comfort.
– Throughout the meal, wait staff were quick to check in, offer suggestions, and ensure dishes arrived at the right pace—never rushed, often with a smile.
– Overall, service felt attentive without being intrusive, and the team clearly takes pride in delivering more than just food. They elevate the entire experience. Several reviews mention how “polite and humble” the servers are. Overall Impressions. Monsoon successfully blends originality with warmth. If you’re craving Indian regional cuisine but want to be surprised—by ingredients, combinations, or presentation—this is the place. Portions are generous, the flavors are distinct, and the staff make you feel cared for. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
