The new Mio Amore Family Restaurant at Mani Square, we were out to try Chinese, but somehow ended up finding This nice Restaurant, beautiful decorated (yet still under construction partly) the interiors are bring done beautifully. The food : we were on for buffet that was 599/- per person, they served one round of sprite (soft drinks) small glass as refreshment, I wanted Feesh lime sods but was not available, all they had was sprite and thumbs-up, quite disappointing, We were served with starters, 1st one was kind of potato gold coin, I did not get the name, it was tasty 2nd was a veg dish like a tikkia, it was allright, not a wow factor, knowing the promoters of this Restaurant I was expecting a wow factor on most dishes, I was not entirely disappointed. 3. Was tandoori style chicken wings it was tasty yummm. 4. Chilli chicken dry : again tasty infact the star dish of the restaurant. we all loved it. 5. Was shrimp balls, it would have been very good but it was too salty... and I felt a little stink... because of this the taste was gone... otherwise this too might have been a star dish, we don't blame any one, culinary art is of manual labour and error can occur, I hope nextime it will be rectified. They reordered the starters, but we were done... Moving on dinner main course The menu was : 1. A fish dish (name I don't recall) 2. Pasta: tasty. 3. Spinach rice : very tasty (recommend to try) 4.chicken kassa : it was okay... nothing special. 5. Veg pulao : nice! Could improve. 6. Paneer I team: delicious. 7. Mix veg : nothing special, bland taste. 8. Butter naan: Empty... no butter naan. Disappointing. Well that was all... for the buffet... For dessert plain old gulab jamun... I did not like it... seems it was bought from a local sweet shop... And Vanila Ice cream... just that vanilla ice cream .... not coco sauce... nothing.. I requested for it... but then didn't have it... and not that it was over... I mean at 7:40 pm we were to first guest to arrive at the restaurant. The price vs experience factor was very poor... I hope they improve. I saw the other reviews... and thought it would have been a better experience but sadly no... a few dish did save our evening... but over all it was a grave disappointment despite moderately good Ambience of the restaurant. I sincerely hope the restaurant important it's menu, quality and service. My opinion: do visit and try it for once... give restaurants a fighting chance. (This is not a paid review). Good night!!!
