I had been for Lunch to this place.It is the best place to experience exploitation in the name of authentic Tamil cuisineSea food wasn’t fresh. Ladies Washrooms not clean. Portion of food in Thali is less. The buttermilk had over powering curry leaves flavour. Vegetarian food was equally bad.Caution to all people who want to experience Tamil food, please don’t go to this place

I initially had my doubts as well, do we really need to have karaikudi food while I was soaking down with pastas; but Maison Perumal proved me wrong. It was indeed an amalgamation of French and Indian. The place looked beautiful with a very smart interiors. We got welcomed with a basket of pappad. I can’t rave enough about the mushroom milagu peratal. Btw, make sure you instruct your spice level before ordering. The mushroom was very well cooked and kept me throat hot while eating the whole time. It lacked a lot of salt and it wasn’t me but the nearby table complained of the same as well. Next was the paruppu urundai kozhambu with chappathi. The chappathi was really hard and didn’t taste good but the curry was top notch. Loved it. The lentil balls went along with the gravy and tasty too. Too add a cherry on the top, I got the pineapple kesari and I didn’t go wrong about it either. They also had an amazing list of cocktails.
