Amazing 75 year old restaurant near the Margaon market. Their Chorizo rice and sorpotel is to die for. Loved the cold coffee too. Mr. Marian Fernandes served us. Very warm person! Finally got the chance to visit this establishment and I did just that. It s ambience is rustic and ages like fine wine. Coming to the food, we had the Sausage Rolls, Beef Croquettes, and Prawn Pattys and the King Fish Rava Fry, all of them tasted good, but the standout dish was the Sausage Rolls. Pricing is very much value for money and the service can be improved on. Definitely check this place out, as it s one of the few places in Goa that serves quality food. We tried prawns curry rice here which was very good. But the king fish fry that we ordered was rolled up. And they actually served this to us. The service is pathetic. If your waiter is busy the other waiter will not even take your order. By the time our fish fry arrived (which was rolled up) we finished our beer. What a lovely place this it. All 5 star for this restaurant. Excellent price, excellent location, good service and very eloborate menu. The best part is , you won t feel a hole in pocket with this restaurant. And going by the price, food is way superb. Will be a permanent joint for me now onwards. A very popular restaurent, bar and meeting place as it is in the central part of Margao in South Goa. Parking: There is parking for about 10 to 15 cars next to the restaurent but more parking along the road. Wheelchair accessibility: Although I did not see anyone on a wheelchair when I visited, the entrance is large and has no stairs and so there will not be a problem for a wheelchair to enter.
