If you happen to be around Gariahat Market, visit Kookie Jar. Taste good pesto chicken, strawberry shortcake and strawberry chicken at this place. Do not leave without trying tasty chocolate truffles, black forest cakes and chocolate cakes. It's nice to order delicious chocolate frappe, iced coffee or cappuccino.

This spot with takeaway dishes is good for those visitors who like to have supper in a hurry. Many guests point out that the staff is energetic at Kookie Jar. Extremely Disappointing Experience We had a terrible experience at Kookie Jar. My sister and I were drenched in the rain and stepped in hoping for a warm and welcoming place. When we politely asked for tissues, the staff rudely told us they don’t provide any unless we order something first—which was shocking and insensitive given our condition. We went ahead and ordered coffee and dessert. While the dessert was decent, the coffee was extremely underwhelming—tasted like a ₹10 Nescafe sachet, but we were charged ₹250 for it. When we asked for a menu, we were told there isn’t one, and they only provide verbal options. On top of that, we were rudely told we should have asked for prices before ordering. It felt unprofessional and disrespectful. To top it all off, they didn’t provide a bill until we specifically asked for it. Overall, a horrible experience with very poor staff behavior. We do not recommend this place to anyone looking for good service or transparency. Definitely not worth the hype. Price per person: ₹800–1,000

Very disappointed with Kookie Jar (Hindustan Park). How can you NOT have an alcohol warning for cakes that contain rum-soaked cherries? There was ZERO information on display or from staff about this when I bought it for my daughter's birthday. When I found it, I called staff to exchange it for a non-alcoholic cake, the rude manager said I should know that Blackforest cake has alcohol in it! How should I know?? I am not a cake expert. This is very irresponsible behavior to be selling birthday cakes containing alcohol WITHOUT WARNING.

Also, they've recently been slicing the sandwich halves more diagonally to reduce their size and pack less stuffing into it, yet price is the same.

I once loved the outlet but both product and staff are going downhill. Management, please note.
