I recently bought a Salted Caramel Cup ice cream as a takeaway from the Kookie Jar Gariahat branch. To my surprise, no spoon was provided with the order. When I returned to request one, the staff informed me that they don’t provide spoons for takeaways unless specifically asked for — which is quite shocking. Honestly, this is basic common sense — how is a customer expected to eat ice cream on the go without a spoon? Even local street vendors don’t overlook such details. It’s disappointing that a premium brand charging premium prices lacks this level of customer care. I hope Kookie Jar reconsiders its policy and staff attitude — because small gestures like this make a big difference in customer experience. Very disappointed with Kookie Jar (Hindustan Park). How can you NOT have an alcohol warning for cakes that contain rum-soaked cherries? There was ZERO information on display or from staff about this when I bought it for my daughter's birthday. When I found it, I called staff to exchange it for a non-alcoholic cake, the rude manager said I should know that Blackforest cake has alcohol in it! How should I know?? I am not a cake expert. This is very irresponsible behavior to be selling birthday cakes containing alcohol WITHOUT WARNING.

Also, they've recently been slicing the sandwich halves more diagonally to reduce their size and pack less stuffing into it, yet price is the same.

I once loved the outlet but both product and staff are going downhill. Management, please note.
