You can get the best kongu style recipes. Felt like I was in Haribhavanam or some hotel in tiruppur. I had the drumstick mutton (murungakkai aatukari pirattal) and my mouth is still watering. Such a juicy flesh of tender mutton with the flavour of all necessary spices with drumstick. Nool parotta is another level. Such a crispy parotta it is. The serva/ salna is also a no complaint free gravy. We had a good lunch yesterday 23/03/2025 @ Kongu Kitchen, Bussy Street, Puducherry. The Aattu Kari Saappaadu & Kozhi Kari Virundhu Saappadu both tasted good. The mutton gravy was good, the chicken gravy could have been better. The chicken biryani in the Chicken Virundhu combo was just Okay. Ilaneer paayasam was so sweet (a little bit more than usual) The ambience was good and clean along with the service. Spoiling the Kongu Belt Authenticity. Briyani was worst. Chicken Meat was too hard. Not cooked properly. Ideally should break but we had a feel of chewing a rubber. Meals was average. Very disappointed. Parota and Ambience were good. Pepper gravy and other gravies missing the taste. Felt Madurai Vedu much better. Kindly improve your Briyani and cooking of meat pls get the gravies tasty and authentic. Add the required salt as for gravies we had to put it manually. Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
