We visited Kipling Cafe on August 31st for a team lunch with my colleagues, and it was a really pleasant experience. The ambiance is beautiful, blending nature with greenery all around, and they have both indoor and outdoor dining options along with a separate bar section. The place also offers birthday celebration packages. We booked a table in advance, so there was no waiting time. Parking was free of charge, which was convenient. The food was decent – some dishes were really good, especially a few starters, but a couple felt like they were made from frozen items instead of fresh. Prices were not too high, which is a plus. The restrooms were well maintained and clean. They also provide high chairs for kids and even prepare kid-friendly meals on request. After lunch, we walked to Akkarai beach, which is just 500 meters away – a perfect addition to the outing. Overall, it was a great experience for a team lunch, and I’d recommend it for family gatherings or casual outings too.
