The Riviere Habitat (জলশ্রী)- This floating restaurant on the river Hooghly is a great eating option while you are travelling through Chandannagore . Location : At Rani ghat, The Strand, Chandannagar. This restaurantis located on a barge anchored on the river Hooghly. Opening Hours is 12.30 pm till 10.30 . Cuisine : Multi cuisine , serves Indian, chinese and quick snacks as well. The Ambience is very nice. You can enjoy the view of the river Hooghly while tasting the delicious dishes. The decor of the restaurant with dark and light contrast themed interior , row of large glass windows facing the river, gives it a great warm feeling. The price is high. Food quality should be better. We tried fish orly and coffee. The decor and overall ambience, I find the place value for money .
