Visited Spicy Biryani Restaurant in Chandannagar during Jagaddhatri Puja, and the experience was quite disappointing. The quality and taste of the biryani were below average—honestly, even many street-side biryani stalls in Kolkata serve far better. The biryani was served on paper plates without even providing a spoon, which was very unprofessional for a restaurant setup. The free salad that came along looked old and unappetizing, probably a couple of days old. We also tried Chicken Tikka Masala, which was just okay but nothing impressive. The overall service was poor, and the staff seemed indifferent. Would not recommend this place for biryani at all. Definitely needs major improvement in food quality, presentation, and basic service standards.
