Idrees Biryani near Patnaala-Chowk@Lucknow is a major foodie landmark of the city of Nawaab.The rather modestly placed eatery is a simple place in location and atmosphere yet it attracts Mutton Biryani from All stratas both within city and tourists as well. We reached there at afternoon and we're amongst the last lot to finally get our plates before it was all sold off.The Biryani rice was great in texture and mutton was very soft! The debate for best Biryani in Lucknow is never ending but there are lot of people whose fav Biryani is Idrees.A well eaten meal all on all!

Many think of Dal Chawal as their comfort food but for me it's Biryani. The aroma, unique flavor, and the juicy pieces of goat meat are to die for at the most well-known biryani joint in Lucknow.
