A Truly Unique Culinary Experience My wife and I went to Inja for a date and it was a wonderful experience. The cocktails were delicious and the one I had (called The Bouquet) was exceptionally good. This being a fusion restaurant is ideal for those who are open to new and unique flavour pairings - although they have several classics on the menu as well. After getting our beaks wet, we tried their Shiso Leaf Tune And Pomelo Chaat - a Japanese twist of the concept of paalak patta chaat - which was an explosion of flavours and s great way to start our meal. Now, I'm not a seafood person but my wife is, so she ordered the Karikada Shrimp which is was riny shrimp in a mustard and soy sauce concoction. She loved it. I tried and while the sauce was lovely the Shrimp itself did not work for me. The star dish for both of us was the Vindaloo Katsu Sando - a simple sandwich which had vindaloo sauce reduced to a kerchupy texture and s chicken katsu patty in the center. Would insist you try this if you ever go here.I also ordered the Tantamen Ramen which was like a warm hug - exactly what you expect from a good bowl of ramen. The quality of noodles was definitely noticeable - I assume they make their own.We ended with desserts which they don't have on the Menu and probably rotate. I had a Mishti Doi inspired desert bowl - which was sweet with a slight sourness to the cream. The crunchy dry fruit base gives this desert a really good mouth feel. The second desert and the last thing we had was the Wood Apple Tart - which is a great option for those who don't like extremely sweet deserts and enjoy a biscuity base.Oh and their welcome drink was bomb. My wife had one before we left as well!

The place is beautifully tucked away on an upmarket, quiet street. It's a perfect fine dining spot to meet with friends and have a conversation, given no loud music. However, when the waitress was putting our food down on the table and launched into explanation, she shushed me as I was speaking to my friend and we had to tell her we're here to talk over a rushed dinner given everyone is visiting India and had no time to listen to long-winded explanation of one starter. we had ordered 7 dishes or so. So, if you have the time and want to indulge in details of how they've deconstructed rasam or chaat, it's a great place. the starters were incredible and the main dishes totally fell flat. Waiters also have a penchant for listening in on your comments about the food and we were accosted at least twice with staff wanting a deep explanation for why we didn't like something. it's great they want feedback and take it seriously but it'll be good to think about ensuring a better customer experience without all the waylaying and debrief. A 1-time visit for us.
