Hotel Crescent at Nungambakkam is a great place to hang out with friends and family. It's a pocket friendly restaurant and serves delicious Kerala style food. The Kizhi parotta and kozhi polichadhu are top notch and must try dishes. The grilled chicken and elaneer payasam are also worth trying. The Sulaimani is their signature hot selling drink and it is truly top notch. The value for money is excellent considering the number and portion size of dishes ordered. The atmosphere is decent and family gatherings can be comfortably accommodated in the air conditioned hall. The fish molee, pazham pori, chicken masala, coconut souffle, and aval milk are all highly recommended. The shawarma, special parota, and Malabar chicken are also some of the favorites. The lemon soda however had a bitter taste. All in all, Hotel Crescent is a great place to visit for a delicious meal at an affordable price.

Casually boarded the restaurant with long time friend for a casual lunch party. Ordered mutton biriyani, chicken grill, served with tangy eggplant masala and Raitha. Food quality, tastes good. Takes about 15 minutes for serving. Have reduced to 3 star rating cause food served cold. Think biriyani taste best when served steaming hot also grill. Good ambience for a business, casual and weekend parties. AC dining hall is a plus. Service: 3

My experience at Crescent Restaurant was average overall. The ambiance was pleasant with nice decor and comfortable seating. However, the noise level was a bit high during peak hours, which made it difficult to have a conversation without raising our voices. The service was decent, with friendly staff who were attentive at times but also seemed a bit overwhelmed when the restaurant was busy. Our food took a little longer than expected to arrive, but it was presented nicely and tasted okay. We tried a few dishes from the menu, and while some were flavorful and satisfying, others fell short of expectations. The portion sizes were reasonable, but the prices seemed a bit high for the quality of food served. The drinks menu had a good variety of options, and the cocktails we ordered were well made. However, they were also on the pricey side. Overall, Crescent Restaurant is a decent option for a casual meal, but there are areas where improvements could be made in terms of service efficiency and food quality to justify the prices."
