Hotel Crescent at Nungambakkam is a great place to hang out with friends and family. It's a pocket friendly restaurant and serves delicious Kerala style food. The Kizhi parotta and kozhi polichadhu are top notch and must try dishes. The grilled chicken and elaneer payasam are also worth trying. The Sulaimani is their signature hot selling drink and it is truly top notch. The value for money is excellent considering the number and portion size of dishes ordered. The atmosphere is decent and family gatherings can be comfortably accommodated in the air conditioned hall. The fish molee, pazham pori, chicken masala, coconut souffle, and aval milk are all highly recommended. The shawarma, special parota, and Malabar chicken are also some of the favorites. The lemon soda however had a bitter taste. All in all, Hotel Crescent is a great place to visit for a delicious meal at an affordable price.
No doubts about the food here, but try getting a table at peak hours. On top of waiting for quite some time when you finally order food, the waiter I got gave the most idc attitude. Ordered shawarma but they said not available too many online orders. I thought priority was given to the people at the restaurant first. Food is good but service, no. Service: 2
Ordered plate shawarma take away... Worst shawarma I have ever eaten.. Chicken gave no taste..very bland...foul smell from 20 m away... mayonnaise felt like curd...it was bad....I now have fear of food poisoning....very bad...change the style...
