The food was just average. Nothing better to describe it: just average. Ambience isn't something spectacular or awesome, lacks character in my opinion. The palate cleanser is good and something not often seen in restaurants. Prices are also not significantly high for what it offers. The service team was good and explained the dishes to us. I didn't try drinks myself but my fellow diners described it as good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹800–1,000 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

The menu at Farzi Café, Kolkata is curated with the continuing attempt to treat palates on global comfort food using fresh ingredients and fusing them with Indian cooking styles & flavors.It is typically crowded and crouched in an ambiance of dim lighting and dark interiors. The staff is reasonably nice and the service is quick as well.The restaurant throughout have dim lights, with a bar in the center and stage in one corner for live performances.They have a multistory indoor seating area along with an outdoor area with live DJ. Most of their Sundowner events are held here.Overall, the ambiance is upscale and classy. If you love music and want to chill with your better half, friends and family, head to Farzi Cafe. . They has recently created a new menu that features a discerning list of dishes and creative options of drinks that are emboldened by Farzifield Mango Extravaganza ( Mango Mania Menu).Summer being synonymous with mangos, Farzi Cafe was not far behind in curating a mango based menu for food lovers. . From their Mango Mania Menu I've tried: From their Mocktail Menu that's Aam Chemistry I've tried : Mango Bull: Fresh mango puree mixed with orange juice Topped with red bull. Alphonso Rose Lassi: Alphonso puree hand blended with curd, honey & rose. . STARTERS Mango and Bird Eye Chill Chicken Wings:The flavours of the mango chutney paired very well with the chicken wings. These spicy-sweet tikka wings, hot, straight from the oven were unique and delicious. Kafir lime chicken tikka: Chicken Tikkas were served in a light foam of chilli and lemon. These were covered with a tangy dip which complemented the batter fried dish well. Mango leather paneer tikka:Then for the vegetarians they have a lot options, which the Non-vegetarian will equally love. The Paneer tikka was delicious with huge chunks of Paneer Tikkas on which the sumptuous makhani gravy was poured fresh. MAIN COURSE Pan Seared Bhetki: The Bhetki fillet ideally cooked and this was presented in a smooth and silky gravy Gur Kairi Chicken Tikka:Royal filmy presentation. Silky makhani gravy of marzano served in a bowl was poured over the Chicken tikka. Chicken was fresh, nicely marinated with sweet and spicy flavours. . DESSERT: Mango leather cheesecake:It's rich and creamy cheesecake rests atop a crumbly buckwheat curst and is topped with a mango cubes.Light and fruity flavours and the mango cubes adding that lovely juicy burst of flavours.This is must try from their Mango Mania Menu. . For those of you who love anything to do with mangoes do visit them before the Mango Mania food festival ends.
