Ordered butturscotch cake but after cutting cake it is only normal venaila cake with some pinkstrberry flavour, the cream on topping with sugar Granules which tasted awkward.. disaster they made,taste was also not good ,it was not tasted as cake, pls don't order for any special occasions from doon,I felt cheated as they charged such huge amount for 2kg and cake not even worth of eating, no one ate it, except only tasted. I usually order from home Baker but tried doon, realised such big mistake I made. They are too pricy, for 1small pc of Pastry they chare 120 which is way than their tastes.. ridiculous. WARNING: Tampered Expiry Date on Tres Lechs Cake – DO NOT BUY HERE! I bought a Tres Lechs cake from Doons Baker Siruseri outlet (near Manis Dum Biriyani) on Feb 1st, 2026. The displayed expiry was 03-Feb-2026, which seemed fine. But when I tasted it, it was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING – sour, off, and straight-up inedible! Heartbroken and suspicious, I peeled back the sticker and found the REAL expiry underneath: 10-Jan-2026. That's almost a MONTH past due!This is straight-up DANGEROUS and unethical. They tampered with the label to sell expired junk? I feel sick thinking I almost served this to my family. Management, how do you sleep at night risking people's health? I've lost all trust – AVOID this place at all costs unless you want food poisoning roulette. Shame on you, Doons Baker Siruseri! We take food safety and integrity very seriously, and we want to address your concerns immediately. Please be assured that we did not intend to sell an expired product. The situation was the result of a human error involving a clerical mistake on the packaging label. A team member accidentally applied an incorrect date stamp and attempted to rectify it with a corrected sticker, rather than replacing the packaging entirely. We realize now how misleading and concerning this looked, and for that, we sincerely apologize. However, we are also very concerned to hear about the taste of the cake.
