Extremely Disappointing Experience – Needs Immediate Attention After a 10-hour drive from Rameshwaram to Bangalore, my family and I stopped at the original Dindigul Thalapakatti, expecting a great meal. Instead, we were shocked by the poor hygiene. Cockroaches were everywhere—in the washroom and even crawling on our table, with 5–6 visible while we were eating. My daughter was so disgusted she couldn’t finish her food, and my father left his meal too. To make things worse, service was careless. We ordered a Coke, but the staff member ignored us and went outside to use his phone. This experience was unacceptable, especially from a brand with a 68-year-old legacy. I recently tried Dindigul Thalappakatti Biryani, and it truly lived up to its reputation! The unique flavor of the short-grain Seeraga Samba rice combined with tender, juicy meat (especially the mutton) gives it a distinctive taste that stands out from regular biryanis. The spices are perfectly balanced—not too overpowering, yet rich in aroma and taste. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
