Visited the new Dakshin at Alwarpet for the first time yesterday. The ambience was very pleasant with a warm South Indian vibe, enhanced by soothing live music. Though we had gone for the ongoing Onam Sadhya, the team graciously included several dishes from the regular Thali—from sambar rice and curd rice to parotta kurma, appetizers, and coffee. The food was excellent. Service was outstanding. Special mention to Mr. Gunasekar, who was cheerful, attentive, and ensured everything was taken care of. We also noticed the same level of care across other tables. Overall, a wonderful experience and absolutely worth visiting for a top-notch South Indian meal. We recently visited Dakshin for lunch.. we tried the Veg, Non veg and seafood thaali.. we loved the food. Mr Ajay who was serving our table was very sweet, informative and quick. He made our experience truly enjoyable and pleasant!!! Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
