I visited Citrus with my family for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. While we had a lovely time overall and appreciated the ambiance, I was extremely disappointed with a safety issue at the live kitchen. There was stir-fried pork on a food warmer, and the spatula was left resting directly on a small ceramic plate placed over the hot surface. When I tried to serve myself, the spatula was stuck to the ceramic plate. As I lifted it, the entire plate came along, and despite trying to be careful, I ended up burning my hand on the food warmer. I immediately informed a staff member, and although they offered basic first aid, there was no follow-up, concern, or action taken to prevent such an incident from happening again. I later spoke to the restaurant manager, hoping they would at least acknowledge the issue and reconsider how utensils are placed around hot surfaces — but unfortunately, the concern seemed to end with the first aid. There were no warning signs near the food warmer, and the setup was clearly unsafe. It’s disappointing that such a basic safety measure was overlooked, especially in a live kitchen setting. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes to ensure guest safety moving forward. Dear Johnson, Greetings from The Leela Palace Bengaluru, Thank you for choosing Citrus at The Leela Palace to celebrate such a special occasion with your family. We’re truly glad to know you appreciated the ambiance and overall experience. However, it's sad to hear about the discomfort you experienced at the live kitchen. Guest safety is of utmost importance to us, and we truly value your feedback. While initial first aid was provided promptly, we deeply regret that our response may not have conveyed the level of attentiveness and care you rightfully expected during such a moment. Please be assured that we are addressing this matter with the utmost urgency and will take the necessary steps to prevent such issues in the future. Our visit to Citrus at The Leela Palace Bengaluru was a testament to the buffet restaurant's reputation for luxury, with outstanding food, hospitality and service, all presented in a warm and inviting atmosphere. I had Turkish Buffet here with myvfamily and immediately felt the pleasant vibes. The staff warmly welcomed us once we were seated and made the day extra special. Citrus offered an outstanding Turkish buffet with a wide range of delectable dishes, all perfectly managed and presented. We tried kebabs, peta breads, baklava, phyllo pastry etc. In a nutshell, the buffet was a thrilling ride of flavors, with each dish expertly crafted to surprise and delight the taste buds. We would eagerly return to experience this culinary adventure again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing is the word. Me and my wife had been to a dinner buffet, and the food varieties and quality was amazing. We opted for a outdoor seating and it was that breezy to be honest. This restaurant is located inside The Leela Palace hotel, what a food quality. They charge like 6000₹ for 2 for buffet. Great service, what a hospitality. Appreciate it. I managed to get some discount via Zomato. Do book in advance and if you have any special requests please do speak to them.
