We had a disappointing experience at Citrus, The Leela, during what was meant to be a special anniversary dinner. Unfortunately, the evening fell well short of expectations, especially given the reputation of The Leela. The food was quite poor both in taste and quality, certainly not what one would expect from a luxury property. To make matters worse, I had made a reservation a day in advance and clearly stressed over call that I wanted an anniversary cake arranged. I even repeatedly confirmed that I would pay for it. The lady on the call noted the details and assured me a 0.5 kg cake would be arranged, yet it never showed up and no one from the staff acknowledged or followed up. Service was also lacking, the staff appeared disengaged and were more involved in gossip than in attending to guests. Overall, this was a deeply disappointing experience for a special occasion. For a name like The Leela, the lack of basic service and accountability was unacceptable. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹2,000+
