I recently visited CHIMICHURRI at Times Square in Andheri East, and it quickly became one of my favourite go-to spots for Asian cuisine in Mumbai. From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed by a vibrant yet classy ambience that strikes the perfect balance between casual dining and refined comfort — ideal for dinners with friends, family nights out, or even a relaxed date night. The restaurant offers a delightful journey through flavours from across Asia — from Chinese and Japanese to Thai and Southeast Asian influences. The menu is extensive and varied, with signature Pan-Asian dishes that are as delicious as they are beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the dimsums, pan-fried gyoza, and the tempura prawns, each bursting with freshness and bold taste. The sushi selections and noodle bowls are also worth trying, and make for a truly satisfying meal. One thing that stood out to me was the quality and consistency of the food — each dish felt thoughtfully prepared with balanced flavours and fresh ingredients. The Chimichurri Chicken and Red Thai Curry were among the highlights of our meal, and paired wonderfully with refreshing drinks from their bar. The restaurant also offers great options for vegetarians, so there’s something for everyone at the table. Service was warm and courteous throughout our visit. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and happy to recommend dishes or explain menu highlights. The spacious seating and well-laid-out interiors give the place a welcoming feel, whether you’re dining early or late — it stays open until around 1:00 AM for those late-night cravings. Another aspect I appreciated was the value for money: while it’s a mid-priced venue, the quality of food and overall experience justify it well, especially for the portions and presentation you receive. Despite being popular (especially on weekends), the place still manages to maintain a relaxed atmosphere without feeling overcrowded. Another pleasant surprise was the dessert spread, which is thoughtfully curated and a perfect way to end the meal. The dessert options are indulgent without being overly heavy, offering a nice balance of flavors and textures. From rich chocolate-based desserts to lighter, refreshing choices, the selection caters to different preferences. Each dessert is well-presented and tastes freshly prepared, making it tempting to try more than one. It’s clear that the same attention to detail given to the main course extends to the dessert menu as well, leaving you with a satisfying and memorable finish to the dining experience. Overall, CHIMICHURRI is a must-visit if you love Pan-Asian flavours in Mumbai. It’s lively yet comfortable, packed with flavourful options, and a great destination for casual date nights, meet-ups with friends, or family dinners. Whether you’re craving sushi, baos, ramen, dimsum, or a hearty curry, this place delivers with style and flavour. Highly recommended!
