This restaurant is frickin brilliant. It might look like your regular mughlai highway-side restaurant at first glance, but don't let the outer looks fool you. I visited this place on a hunch (I was hungry, and this was my first time in this particular neighborhood, so I just relied on Google reviews)... I went in blind, not knowing what to expect. But when the food came in and I had the PRIVILEGE to taste it (so to speak), it BLEW MY MIND. There's a stark difference between a conventional kitchen where the chefs are just basically machines making food, with no heart or soul, and in kitchens where the chefs actually give a damn about what they put on the plate that's about to go out. This restaurant is of the latter kind. The food here made my heart smile. Ofcourse this was coupled with extraordinary service as well, which took this entire experience to a whole new level. The surprising thing is, that they don't even levy a service charge on the final bill. This just goes to show that they treat this job as something of a personal endeavor, which in turn is what makes this place feel so warm and welcoming and awesome. This alone is enough for anyone to just go and savour all the delicious food that this place has to offer, without a shred of doubt. Al Nizami Darbar, ya'll have a fan.
