Had a really disappointing experience overall. The food wasn’t good at all. The truffle, avocado & blue pea rice uramaki sushi wasn’t great, and the verdure pizza honestly felt like I was eating a garden. The paneer tikka was just okayish. The only saving grace was the dessert. We were very hungry, which made the experience even more disappointing since the food still didn’t satisfy. I had such a lovely experience at Pleo BKC it’s a very cozy dinner spot, perfect for date nights or a relaxed evening out. The ambience was calm, elegant, and beautifully set up, and the service was great too. For starters, I had the Truffle Cheese Pop and the Honey Chilli Lotus Stem both were absolutely delicious, but the lotus stem was my personal favourite. For mains, the Smoked Ricotta & Pumpkin Gnocchi was rich and comforting, and the Spaghetti with Trapanese Pesto and Creamy Burrata was just perfect, definitely a 10/10 dish. The drinks, Kaffir Amber and Drifting Clouds, were super refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I’d highly recommend visiting Pleo if you’re around BKC and looking for a cozy, classy dining spot.
