We recently visited Persian Darbar, and it was nothing short of a delightful experience! Located on Marol Kurla Road in Andheri East, the place welcomes you with its aesthetic ambiance and cozy vibes. One of the best features is their separate dastarkhwan seating, which makes it an ideal spot for a family dinner, casual get-together, or a cozy outing with loved ones. We began our evening with some refreshing mocktails — the Coconut Colada and Green Apple were beautifully presented and tasted super refreshing. The Orange mocktail was absolutely on point too! For starters, we ordered a variety of dishes, each better than the last: Mutton Nallibarra – perfectly cooked and flavorful. Chicken Tandoori Mumtaz – mind-blowing in taste and presentation! Chicken Lebanese Kebab – packed with flavor and a total hit. Chicken Thread – crispy, well-seasoned, and addictive. For the main course, we went with: Mutton Nihari with roti – rich, comforting, and perfectly spiced. Mutton Kepsa Rice – aromatic, generously portioned, and perfect for four people. Every dish was full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and truly satisfying. The service was excellent, attentive, and added to the overall experience. To wrap it up, we indulged in Kunafa and Baklava with ice cream – and wow, what a way to end the meal! The desserts were rich, indulgent, and absolutely crave-worthy. Rating: 10/10 From start to finish, the experience was incredible. If you’re in the area and looking to indulge in rich, flavorful Mughlai and Persian cuisine, Persian Darbar is a must-visit! For a change Andheri food was made very nicely specially Chicken Lebnani Tikka as a starters, Chicken Lahore as a gravy, Butter roti, Musky Mango cocktail was superb and yes Cream cheese kunafa was too good , so over all experience was good compared to byculla. Byculla was terrible experience for specially dabba gosht guys believe me that's one thing do not order it's super pathetic. Rest service was good in andheri if you are going on weekend you may find waiting approx 15 min atleast so plan accordingly weekdays are ok . Do not worry about parking there is valet service available.. We were looking forward to this dinner but it was a let down in many ways. Initially, the reaction is one of awe with a beautifully designed interior and friendly service. That’s the highlights. Firstly, the place was full of mosquitoes- we asked for them to put on the repellant. There was only 2 of us and we wanted something to share. We were suggested and served a GIANT platter which must have had at least 2kg of rice. It was such a waste. The taste was nice but just too much. Finally, don’t come here looking for Persian food - there’s barely on the menu. It’s just Indian food Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
