First off all there’s only cash option in all the shops there. Secondly the waffle (Nutella Waffle) we received was felt like a kind of formality it was already sweet but they put extra sugar on it. Damm felt like a sugarrush n all it’s the hype only better to select better shop among them & try maggi there only or something spicy then only u can feel somehow satisfied. ALSO EVERYTHING WAS EXPENSIVE! Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Overhyped but yes only these char dukan u will have . Have your breakfast before reaching here and have a liggt snak there. Char Dukan, located in the quiet town of Landour near Mussoorie, is famous for its charming collection of four historic, century-old cafes serving comfort food like cheesy bun omelettes, Masala Maggi, pancakes, waffles, and honey-ginger-lemon tea. It is a popular, rustic hangout spot offering a serene, old-world vibe away from the crowded Mussoorie Mall Road Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹800–1,000 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section Vegetarian options: Overhyped, u hygenic, selling to much expensive

Perched in the quiet charm of Landour, Chaar Dukan Café feels less like a typical café and more like a slow, nostalgic pause in the hills. The setting is honestly what makes it so special. Simple benches, mist drifting through the air, and that soft background of conversations mixed with birds and mountain silence. It is one of those places where you just sit, relax, and lose track of time without even realising it. We tried a few things from the menu and had a mixed experience. The banana pancakes were easily the best part of the meal. They were soft, warm, and had that perfect natural sweetness which made them feel comforting and just right for the weather. Easily something I would go back for. The veg momos were good, fresh and satisfying, though nothing out of the ordinary. The French fries were actually quite impressive, crispy and well seasoned, making them a great side to munch on while sitting there. The only real disappointment was the chocolate pancake. It was dry, lacked flavour, and honestly felt quite underwhelming. What made it worse was the price, which just did not match the quality at all. Overall, Chaar Dukan Café is more about the experience than just the food. You go there for the vibe, the calm, and the setting. Some dishes stand out, some do not, but the place itself makes it worth the visit. Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
