Cafe Mysore established in 1930s is a fully vegetarian restaurant in Central Mumbai where people of all ages come and enjoy some absolutely great meals and spend a great time. A.Rama Nayak was then a class fourth drop out from a village in Karnataka. Choosing a vantage spot near the King's circle railway station, he started making and selling idlis and dosas on plantain leaves. It is a famous eating joint especially famous for its highly economically friendly menu. Cafe Mysore serves some really delicious South Indian cuisine. This place has a gentle and yet homely vibe to it. The helpful staff just add to the comfort. The menus continues to sport simple south Indian fare including idlis, dosas, rasam, pineapple sheera, and filter coffee. The restaurants still source their milk from an old trusted cowshed at Jogeshwari, and their vegetables and grain from old time suppliers. .
