I had high expectations from Café Military, especially being a heritage Parsi restaurant in Colaba, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. First of all, there is no parking facility nearby. The café is located deep inside narrow lanes, making it quite inconvenient unless you’re very familiar with the area. Finding a place to park and walking all the way was a hassle. One major drawback is that they do not accept card or UPI payments — only cash, which is very surprising and inconvenient in today’s digital world. Coming to the food and service — the restaurant wasn’t even crowded (only a few tables were occupied), but the service was unusually slow. We ordered a variety of dishes: • Chicken Keema Pav • A Wednesday special chicken fry with veggies (don’t recall the exact name) • Plain omelette, masala omelette, Anda Bhurji, and tea Sadly, none of the dishes really stood out. The food was below expectations, especially for a place known for its legacy. And the tea — it tasted like instant tea, which was a big letdown. I was looking forward to a comforting, traditional Parsi meal, but the whole experience just didn’t live up to the hype. On the plus side, they do serve beer, which may appeal to some, but overall, this visit left me disappointed. Filthy! Food is below average in taste. Tried mutton Keema, very less quantity came cold in rainy afternoon. Do not visit if you've watched the reel and visiting. Its a customer attracting technique just to fool them with bad food. I had an upset stomach. Unfortunately had to use their washroom and passed via inside rooms my god, god save this cafe and health of visitors. Waiters are respectful.
