Experience was not too good as was highly expected. Disappointed rather. We ordered a dish but it is no more prepared although it is mentioned in their menu. Staff is not well versed with the food served. The taste was ok ok, nothing great. Like I said, we were excited to dine here but we were disappointed. We ordered another dish called ghormeh sabzi w/ mutton. We had to hunt for the mutton cubes. Too much of sabzi and beans. Since we reached there at around 10 p m, parking was not an issue. Of course during the day it will be an issue I guess. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹600–800 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Some standout dishes include:

- **Jujeh Kabab**: Tender, marinated chicken grilled to perfection, bursting with zesty, smoky flavors that pair beautifully with the saffron-infused rice served alongside.
- **Ghormeh Sabzi**: This hearty herb stew with lamb is a Persian favorite, featuring fenugreek, kidney beans, and a tangy hint of dried limes. The dish is complex and comforting, giving you a true taste of Persian home-cooking.
- **Fesenjan**: A rich and unique dish of pomegranate and walnut stew with tender chicken. The balance between the tanginess of the pomegranate and the nuttiness of the walnuts is delightful.
- **Chelo Kebab**: This iconic Persian dish is presented beautifully, with juicy, well-spiced kebabs served on a bed of fluffy rice adorned with a pat of butter and a sprinkle of sumac. It's a must-try for newcomers and Persian food enthusiasts alike.
- **Saffron Ice Cream (Bastani)**: This dessert is not only visually stunning with its bright yellow hue but also a treat to the taste buds, with a subtle hint of saffron and crunchy pistachios that provide a perfect ending to a rich meal.

The menu at Sabalan also caters to vegetarians, with options like *Mirza Ghasemi* (smoked eggplant dip) and *Kashke Bademjan* (yogurt and eggplant dip), which are great starters to share.

#### Drinks:
Sabalan offers traditional Persian beverages that complement the food beautifully.
