I had planned to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Break O’ Clock Cafeteria based on the package clearly discussed with them: ₹499 per person for 5 years & above, and free for children below 5 years. Accordingly, I paid for 8 adults and shared the list including 2 children aged 2.5 years and 4 years. After payment, they suddenly changed their stance and demanded ₹299 per child, which was never informed earlier and is clearly against what was discussed and confirmed on chats. Their justification was about seating and occupancy, but rules cannot be changed after payment. This feels misleading and unprofessional, especially for a New Year event where plans are time-sensitive. I would advise others to get everything in writing very clearly and reconfirm charges before paying, as commitments may not be honored later. Very disappointing experience.
