Didn't knew this place will leave a mark of one of my favourite restaurant so far. So visited this place on my friend's recommendation for my husband's birthday and just loved the vibes and unbeatable Middle Eastern cuisine. Loved the hummus served with soft pita ( which is very rare) and trust me I couldn't wait to try famous Baklava with ice-cream and it was yumm. Koshari is something you should definitely try. Indeed it was a great experience and definitely visiting again super soon

I’ve been dreaming of this moment since college. Every time I visited BKC, I’d look at Bayroute BKC with that hopeful “one‐day” glow, and today, I finally got to walk through those doors. After all the years of anticipation, the evening unfolded like a memory I didn’t know I had, and I’m still floating. From the moment we stepped in, the ambience whispered luxury, the soft golden lights dancing across marble and wood, plush seating that seemed to hug you as you settled in, and that whimsical hot-air balloon installation overhead, which honestly felt like an invitation to drift far away from routine. The decor wasn’t just stylish, it felt curated, intentional, like someone wove in every element to make you pause, breathe, and savour the experience. And then there was the food ️We doved into flavours that felt both familiar and utterly elevated. We had to start with their signature Muhammara with pita, which was rich, smoky red pepper-and-walnut dip that came alive with every scoop, the warmth of the pita balancing the depth of the spread. Then the Cottage Cheese Shawarma, which took the classic shawarma concept and spun it into something fresh and creamy, each bite a soft, savoury surprise. The Peynir Pide arrived as a golden-crisp boat of dough filled with mushrooms and spinach, the cheese melting into every crevice, it felt indulgent yet grounded. And the Koshari, the national dish of Egypt, was heart-warming with rice, lentils, pasta, chickpeas, all layered together and topped with golden fried onions, it wasn’t just food, it was a story on a plate. For drinks, we treated ourselves to their Salted Caramel Baklava Sheikh which was next‐level, a shake that felt like dessert in a glass, every sip layered with sweet, salty, nutty goodness. And the Green Avocado Shake, smooth and lush, was the kind of drink you pause for and almost regret drinking because you know it’s going to end. We wrapped the evening with the reason I first got drawn here, the place that introduced us to the concept of baklava like we’d never tasted before. And trust me, after all these years, nobody does it better than BAYROUTE! There’s something emotional about finally being in the space you’ve longed for, tasting the dishes you read about, surrounded by the glow of lights, the hush of water, and the comfort of someone else having already thought of the details so you could just… be. If you’re looking for a night out that’s more than just dinner, if you want to feel transported, delighted, and full of that “yes, this is exactly where I’m supposed to be” energy, then Bayroute BKC should absolutely be on your list. Cheers!
