Can I not rate the hummus? It was stale and stinking. Threw it away and has ordered it for kids to eat. Even the shawarma was tiny for the price with hardly any chicken.

Visited this place with seven friends for a birthday celebration, and the experience was extremely disappointing. We ordered four dishes — lamb chops, chicken mandi, a veg platter, and an Arrabiata pasta. And not a single one arrived warm or freshly made. Every dish was cold and completely overpriced. The veg platter, priced at over ₹1000, barely had anything on it. The lamb chops were so tough that even the waiters began mocking us while we struggled to chew them. The Arrabiata pasta had barely four bites’ worth of food, and the chicken mandi came with only four small, hard, bony chicken pieces with almost no flesh. The rice served with it was dry, cold, and tasted stale. For a total bill of almost ₹5000, not one dish felt worth the money. Portions were tiny, quality was terrible, and nobody even left with a full stomach. The fact that they didn’t have the basic decency to serve even one dish warm says everything.A thoroughly disappointing experience. Absolutely would not recommend.

If you love Lebanese food, there’s no chance you can miss out on this one. Zima is one of Mumbai’s most premium fine dines for Middle Eastern food. The food here is authentic and curated well as they have a Lebanese chef and Dubai based founders. The space is super pretty and huge, perfect for family outings and dates. I tried their Shawarma Dajaj, which was actually quite Middle Eastern in flavour; the Kafta Kash Kash, a kebab that spelled royalty; Zaatar Fatayer, a classic done very well and the Chicken Musahab, a very soft and moderately spiced chicken. What stole the show for me though was their Taraha Pizza, a delicious dish made for sharing and celebrating. You can ask them to write whatever message you want on it. The Yemeni Chicken Mandi is aromatic and the bone broth makes it tastier. For desserts, we did their Milk Cake and Dubai Pistachio Kunafa Crunch, which I am seriously a fan of, it’s just that decadent. The next time you’re craving some Middle Eastern flavours, check out Zima!
