Amazing place to eat here very authentic and home made type food here randomly spotted this place and it made our day and it's very reasonable great service with nice hygiene maintain 5/5 can visit here for veg non veg both without any doubt.. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Recommended dishes: Dosa, Fish Meals, White Rice Chicken Curry, Chicken Curry with Parotta Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend

We were looking for a spot that locals visit, since most restaurants in Ooty caters to tourists (mostly North Indian, continental and Chinese cuisines). After much research, I came across Appu's Mess, which reminded me of a Kerala Thattukada. Now for anyone who visits this place, do not expect it to have ambience or hospitality. It's simply a place to eat good, affordable food, nothing else. For anyone who's looking for a place which serves authentic every day Tamilian meal, this is definitely the place to visit.
