I ordered for myself one Special chicken biryani in lunch. It was not as my expectation. It was quite dry. Presentation was poor. No dressing at all. Raita and salad could be accompanied. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I have visited the Aminia outlet in Kolaghat multiple times, as it is only 1.5 km from my home. I frequently go there to enjoy their Biryani, Kebabs, and Mongolian dishes. Ambience & Service: The outlet has a good ambience with decent parking space. The staff is polite, helpful, and welcoming, which enhances the overall dining experience. Food Quality: Aminia is a well-known and reputed brand for Mughlai cuisine, and in the Kolaghat highway region, it stands out as the best option for premium-quality, flavorful Biryani. Their Chicken Chaap and Mutton Chaap are quite good, and the Chicken Masala is also worth trying. Recently, I tried their Ramzan special Haleem, which was excellent—rich in flavor and well-prepared. However, their special Mutton Curry, which they claim is a signature dish, didn’t impress me. While the mutton itself was good, the flavor was underwhelming and didn’t stand out as something unique. Pricing: The prices at this outlet are on the higher side. While the taste is good, I feel it doesn’t fully justify the cost, making it not exactly “value for money.” Final Verdict: Overall, the food quality is good, especially the Haleem and Biryani. Though some dishes may not be as special as advertised, this remains the best place in the region for Mughlai cuisine. If you’re in Kolaghat and craving flavorful Biryani, Aminia is definitely worth a visit.
