Located on the national highway 6 at Kolaghat and close to a landmark restaurant 'Sher e Punjab', the Express Food Plaza is worth visiting for its tasty food, spacious car parking, playarea for kids and booze. The service is mediocre. There is an ice-cream counter of Red Cow (but could not taste it as the sight of a dead housefly in the ice cream made me ughh). Rest all ok ok type. The food quality and quantity were both low , compared to the price.The hype we see on social media is probably paid. Such a big restaurant but they still serve food on a plastic plate and those plates look like kids plates . The restaurant wasn't very clean but the only good thing is the staff's behaviour. Visited this dhaba recently and overall had a pretty good experience. We tried dahi ke kebab, tandoori roti, chicken butter masala, and lassi. The food was tasty, especially the chicken butter masala—rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The dahi ke kebab and tandoori roti were also well-made and complemented the gravy nicely. However, the lassi was a bit of a letdown; it lacked the flavour I expected. One more thing seemed strange to me that they took longer to serve starter even we ordered from today's special list. After the starter rest of the foods served very fast. The ambience was pleasant, with enough space to sit comfortably. It has that classic dhaba vibe while being clean and well-maintained.
