We ordered soup and a starter platter. For 800 rupees, the starter was simply not worth it. At the max, it is worth 300 to 400 rupees. The soup was also average and not super good. Overall, not a bad place at the max and would not recommend to anyone opting italian food. The Service was good and the ambience was pretty average. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Have been hearing a lot about this place through various sources on the social media and has been on our wish list for a while now. If it's pure vegetarian Italian cuisine you're looking for, then it ought to be Amalfi Italian at Kilpauk Chennai. The ambience was good for the limited space. The food tasted awesome - pappardelle in aglio olio sauce, pizza with exotic grilled veggies like zuccini, artichokes and broccoli. Though not a big fan of tomato soup, their offering with roasted tomatoes and basil was tangy and slurpy. The mocktails did their job, the Kiwi Mint Muddler being a standout. All these, but not without some spites. The service was attentive but clinical. Quite a few dishes were not available. It was a sultry day and their airconditioners jilted us. For the fare offered, the pricing was fair. Just a few loose ends to tie-up and Amalfi Italian would be a thriving 'one if it's kind.' I recently dined at Amalfi Italiana in Chennai and had a delightful experience! The Pumpkin Gnocchi Fritti and the Tuscany Roasted Tomato Soup were standout dishes, bursting with authentic flavors. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff making the evening even more enjoyable.
